Driver four times the limit in Pialligo Avenue collision

About 5.50pm yesterday (Saturday, 6 July 2019) ACT Policing responded to reports that a White Toyota utility was on its side at a roundabout on Pialligo Avenue, near Canberra Airport.

The driver of the utility, a 31-year-old man, returned a positive breath test result over four times the legal 0.05 blood alcohol limit. His licence was immediately suspended.

No other vehicles were involved, and although an adult passenger and two young children were in the vehicle, nobody was seriously injured in the incident.
