Man to face court for burglary
A 41-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Thursday, 26 September 2019), charged with multiple offences relating to a burglary.
About 10:30am yesterday, police attended an address in Isabella Plains following a triple zero call reporting that an unknown man was inside the residence.
Upon police arrival, the man fled on foot into a green belt but was apprehended a short time later. A search of the man revealed a stolen mobile phone and items consistent with committing a burglary.
The 41-year-old was transported to the ACT Watch House and will face the ACT Magistrates Court today charged with burglary, going equipped for theft and theft. Police will oppose bail.
